DPort Services is the Greek company that has undertaken the support of the operation and management of the Container Terminal of the port of Piraeus on behalf of SEP S.A. (a subsidiary of COSCO Shipping Ports Limited) since 2010.
DPort Services provides a complete range of Port Services required for the operation of the modern terminal of the Port of Piraeus, with the aim of establishing it as a leading figure in the network of the maritime community at a global level. The numbers speak for themselves.
2010: About 500,000 containers were handled on an annual basis through the commercial port of Piraeus.
2021: Containers will exceed the number of 5 million, reaching the peak of the port’s dynamics.
Following the development of the infrastructure, DPort Services is an integral part of the transformation mechanism of the commercial port of Piraeus, into the first large-scale state-of-the-art terminal in Greece and in Europe as a whole.
The increase in international transport activities gives Greece a competitive advantage and DPort Services the ability to provide its services in the entire range of port services without geographical limitations.
DPort Services and its partner companies now employ more than 2,500 workers, supporting their families and the local economy of Perama and Piraeus.
